Feb 26, 2pm Vashon's Winter Birds with Adria Magrath and Little Bird Gardens.  Information on winter birds on Vashon plus practical information for folks on what they can do to support birds in their yards. Free. Register at store.

POSTPONED - Bird Boxes & Houses with Steve Caldwell of Audubon Society. Basics of providing housing to wild birds including building for specific species, cleaning, and maintaining. Free. Register at store.

April 3, 11am-12:30pm Pruning Workshop with Kim Cantrell of Little Bird Gardens.  Focuses on good pruning practices and proper tools. With Adria Magrath.  Tools provided.  $25.  Register at www.littlebirdgardens.com.

April 16, 11am-12pm Basics of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) with Susan Carper. Learn how to increase the health of your garden and the types of control in an Integrated pest management system.  $5. Register at store.
About the instructor: Susan Carper from Little Bird Gardens has been studying and growing plants for the past 30 years. Her passion is in garden design and PNW natives and she comes to us with a background in Integrative pest management and disease management. She is also available for hire with diagnosing disease and pest damage on your property.
May 5, 12pm, Foraging SnackWalk with Adria.  Learn foraging, plant identification, and put it into practice on this active session.  Safety considerations, holistic health integration and what's available right now on Vashon Island to eat! Walking over terrain involved, so proper shoes/stabilization necessary. Registration Required - at the front register or call the store. $5 - all ages.

May 7, 4-5pm Mother's Day Terrarium Workshop with Michelle Johnson.  Mommy and me workshop to build a take-home terrarium.  Supplies provided. $45. Registration Required, at airbnb.com or at store.

May 21, 11am-12pm Lawns Meadows and Lawn Alternatives with John Coghlan of Home Grown Organics.  Learn basic steps to natural lawn care and alternative options to a traditional lawn. $25.  Registration Required, at store.

July 2022 (exact dates TBA) Landscape Painting/Plein Aire.  Weekend workshop for painters; outdoors. Price TBD.  Registration Required, at store.

Masks are encouraged while participating in indoor and outdoor events, but is up to you.  We respect your choice.
