Soapstone is a beautiful natural stone that is easy to shape and comes alive with color as it is polished. This workshop provides students with their choice of three pre-cut animal shapes and the tools to shape the stone into a 3-dimensional sculpture. This workshop is ideal for families!

Bio: Cyra Jane Hobson, is a fine artist and professional stone carver. Based out of the Beall Greenhouse studios, she teaches this workshop in elementary schools around Puget Sound.
