Pie Bird

This wonderful, decorative Pie Bird enables you to bake delicious pies with pastry tops. It prevents the fruit filling and juices from overflowing while in the oven.

  • Simply line the pie dish with your crust. Place the Pie Bird in center of pie and surround it with the fruit filling. Pinch the upper crust around the Pie Bird's shoulder, allowing the head to stick through.
  • While in the over, the Pie Bird will release the steam through its beak which prevents the juices from boiling over
  • The Pie Bird is made of oven safe ceramic and is 3-1/2 inches tall
  • Hand washing is highly recommended
